Bubble machines
If you want to make your DJ show more memorable, using a bubble machine is one way to do it. A bubble machine isn’t a complex machine either. It’s pretty much a box with an area where the bubble fluid collects and a conveyer belt with a bunch of the things little kids use to make bubble rotating hundreds of bubbles into the air.
Some say bubble machines are for DJs who want to distract you from their overall lack of performing talent. While we’re sure this is the case in some situations, it’s not the case most of the time. Bubble machines can be great crowd pleasers depending on the crowd you’re performing for on that particular night. You wouldn’t want your fans to think you’re hokey just because you decided to include a bubble machine in your performance.
It’s all a matter of taste. Some crowds love them while other crowds think they’re ridiculous and have no place in a DJ show. You aren’t going to find a bubble machine at a serious hip-hop club, but you might in a normal club where they play pop music. It also depends on the mood of the music you’re playing. If the music is serious, odds are a bubble machine is only going to detract from what the song is trying to say.
The sign of a true DJ is their ability to determine what their crowd wants and absolutely despises. But if they want a bubble machine, who are you to say no and let them down? |
