Disco lights
Everyone remembers the movie Saturday Night Fever where John Travolta dances in a club that has a colorful, lit up dance floor and bright lights shining all over the place. That’s what disco lights are in a nut shell. They’re not so common anymore, but they certainly had their heyday during the disco era. Now they’re relegated to DJs who want to maintain a nostalgic sensibility about their show or to the memories of those who experienced them first hand all those years ago. These days if you have the right crowd, disco lights are capable of putting on a show and getting everyone to the dance floor.
It’s hard to describe the feeling you get when you see the little balls of light coming off a disco ball on a dark dance floor. You’re just in awe of the spectacle that’s flourishing before you. You can’t help but go along with the DJ and dance the night away. That’s what they’ve done since the 1970s and we no reason you shouldn’t get involved in the fun. Disco lights are synonymous with fun due to their role in a fantastic era of American entertainment.
If you’re a DJ that performs at a lot of events that pay tribute to disco, you can’t go without disco lights. The venues where you perform might provide disco lights, but it’s definitely not a guarantee. You will want to bring your own lights in case they can’t hold up their end of the bargain. You wouldn’t want to let the crowd down now, would you? |
