Hand held mixer > Info > Mixers Mixers
The first place that you're going to want to look is online. There are a huge variety of sites where you can purchase a mixer for a low price (often $300 or less) if you're willing to go for a used version. As a hint, it's usually better to go for a used version of good equipment than a new version of mediocre equipment. Whether the site you choose is eBay, Guitar Center, Sweet Water, or one of the many other music sites out there, you're going to find a great price because these guys don't have to fight with overhead. The other good option is to find out who's selling used equipment. You can do this by looking at classifieds, but an even better option is to get involved in the DJ scene, network, and make it known that you're looking. As DJs upgrade, they need to unload old equipment, and you can get a great price for fantastic equipment like mixers this way. |
