Snow machine

It’s hard to believe that DJs use snow machines in their shows, but it’s the truth.  You have to be performing in the right setting in order to make using one make sense.  A snow machine wouldn’t make sense in a small setting where people are packed on the dance floor like sardines.  You need a wide open space where the snow can collect and spread out.  Knowing your crowd is especially important when you’re using a piece of equipment like this.  Some crowds will think it’s hokey and others will love it and want to dance around in the snow it creates.  The last thing you want is for the crowd to think you’re overcompensating or trying to distract them from something.
If you have a snow machine, you need to increase the theatrics of your performances to ensure you’re not going to blend in with the snow machine.  You’re the star of the show, not some random piece of equipment.  The effect of a snow machine is a dramatic spectacle that’s going to attract the attention of many.  You want people to remember the snow machine, but you don’t want that to be the only thing they remember.  The ideal situation is for people who were in attendance to mention the snow machine in passing on the way to giving your performance rave reviews.  It’s an usual piece of equipment to incorporate into your show, so don’t try to use it unless you know how to seamlessly bring it into your act.
